April 4, Breakfast with the Disciples and Easter Egg Hunt, 9:00 – 11:00 am. All are invited to join us  for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Egg Hunt will be combined with a breakfast this year. Joining us will be a few of the Disciples who will give us their perspective on what Easter was like for them and those who knew Jesus.

April 9, HolyThursday, Three services: 12:00 noon in Myers Chapel, Dr. Charles Yoost preaching A Meal in the Upper Room. Holy Communion with be offered by intinction. 6:00 p.m. a service and meal of remembrance will be observed in the Great Hall with the Rev. Daniel Bogre. The Tenebrae Service begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary with hymns, prayers and Bible readings following by the moving solo, "I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked" as all are invited to kneel at the rail for the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
April 10, Good Friday, 7:30 p.m. The 8th grade Confirmation Class will conduct a funeral service for Jesus in the Sanctuary. The service includes traditional and contemporary readings with music by the youth choir.
April 12, Easter, Sunrise Service begins at 6:30 a.m. at Lake View Cemetery. Easter Sunday services at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary with music by organ, brass, tympani and choirs. The 9:30 a.m. contemporary service in the Great Hall will feature a dramatization of the Easter Scripture and a special children's sermon. Dr. Charles Yoost, Senior Pastor, will present the East message "There's Always Easter!" GPS meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Great Hall with the Rev. Daniel Bogre preaching.

April 9, Holy Thursday, 7:00 p.m. - Agape Meal. The Agape Meal or Upper Room Meal is a form of communion among the company of believers. At an Agape Meal, we join together in a meal to remember the actions and words of Jesus during his last Hours with the twelve disciples The meal is eaten in silence, as words of scripture, music, and poetry direct the participant's meditation. Just as the disciples did, the listeners hear Christ's words of loving one another, being a servant, keeping his commandments, abiding in him, oneness with God, the gift of the Holy Sprit, and that sorrow will be turned to joy. Join us for this time of meditation and remembrance.

April 9, Maundy Thursday, 7:00 p.m. - This service is casual, modeled on early Christian worship where Christians gathered at someone’s home, brought some food to share, sang and listened to the scriptures.  We will gather around tables to share a light meal and worship together.  Please bring bread (rolls or sliced bread), cheese (cut into slices or chunks), or fruit (washed, cut up if necessary) to share.  This is a family-friendly service.  Becky and Lil will be our music leaders.  
April 10, Good Friday, 7:00 p.m. - Fourteen candles, along with the central Christ candle are lit at the beginning of the service and one is extinguished at the conclusion of each section of Scripture as we hear the story of the Passion of Jesus Christ.  It promises to be a very meaningful worship service, which will feature our Bell Choir.
April 12, Easter, 6:30 a.m., Sunrise Service. We will once again join Church of the Redeemer UMC and Church of the Saviour UMC for a Sunrise Service at the Severance Cross at Lakeview Cemetery; 9:30 a.m. Easter Bread Breakfast in Fellowship Hall; 10:45 in the sanctuary, Traditional Worship Service. There will be no Praise Service on this day.  We encourage everyone to share in these Easter festivities.

A living depiction of Leonardo’s The Last Supper provides worshipers an opportunity to experience the final intimate gathering of Jesus with the disciples before the Passion.
April 10, Labyrinth Walk - 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. - Take your own journey with Jesus as you walk the labyrinth in quiet meditation. This centuries-old spiritual discipline comes alive at WUMC as we experience the Passion.
April 10, Tenebrae Service, 7:30 pm - This service of shadows is a striking reading of the passion story by candlelight with hymns and motets. Hear the story of Jesus’ crucifixion as you’ve never heard it before.
April 12, Easter Sunday Sunrise Service, 6:52 a.m. - Be there for the early morning rising of the sun and the rising of our Savior. We gather at Evergreen Cemetery for this celebration of the Resurrection with our friends from Dover Congregational United Church of Christ
and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
April 12, Easter Sunday Worship, 8:30 and 10:30 am - This most holy day of the Christian year comes alive in worship with special music, flowers of spring, and the assurance of salvation through our risen Savior!
